Coty graduated from high school in Velma, and went on to play football for Southern Nazarene University where he graduated. He attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where he graduated in 2012. He then moved back to the Stephens County area where he has been practicing dentistry for 8 years.
His passion for continuing education has led him to be a member of various organizations such as IOS, IAO, AAID, and ICOI. He is the newest board member of AOS, and the President of the Oklahoma AGD. Dr. Shores obtained his Fellowship with the ICOI, an honor that less than 3% of dentists in the United States have achieved.
Dr. Shores is married to Chelsea Shores (owner of the Heartbeat Dance studio). He enjoys helping her with the studio and all its events. Together they have two children Cason (8) and Cambry (5). Dr. Shores enjoys spending time with his family, martial arts with his two children, shooting sports, hunting and spending weekends at the lake with family.
